On August 21, Branch hosted its inaugural Putting for Pediatric Care golf tournament at the picturesque Raspberry Falls Golf & Hunt Club in Leesburg, Virginia. Bringing together friends, trade partners, and community supporters, the event raised an incredible $58,570 for the University of Virginia (UVA) Health Pediatric Cancer Center—a vital resource providing hope and healing to children battling cancer.
The day featured 18 holes of golf, engaging contests, and exciting prizes. But beyond the scorecard, the true highlight was the cause: supporting pediatric care at UVA. Over 100 participants teed off with a shared purpose, turning every swing into a step toward better outcomes for young patients.
A Special Guest: Parker’s Story
The event took on an even deeper meaning with the presence of a special guest, Parker—a brave young man whose life was transformed by the UVA Pediatric Cancer Center. Accompanied by his parents, Parker joined us on the green to accept the donation on behalf of the center. His family shared heartfelt gratitude, thanking participants for their generosity and underscoring how these funds will support life-saving care for kids just like him.
Parker’s story brought home the impact of every dollar raised. At Branch, we’re used to building strong foundations and structures – but this event reminded us of the power of building hope.
The $58,570 raised will directly benefit the UVA Health Pediatric Cancer Center, funding critical treatments, research, and support services for children and their families. It’s a testament to what we can achieve when our community comes together.
