DC United – Segra Field Stadium

Segra Field is the new home stadium for Loudoun United FC, the USL reserve team of DC United. The project is at Philip A. Bolen Memorial Park in Leesburg and has 5,000 seats, a state-of-the-art training facility and team offices that support DC United’s youth development academy.
CHALLENGE
The project required more than building a stadium. The site needed seemless functionality, safe access, efficient traffic flow, and transportation options that worked for fans, vendors, and the community. The project integrated new parking, transit features, and roadway connections into an active public park setting.
SOLUTION
Branch delivered a comprehensive and stadium-ready site, along with the supporting infrastructure. Approximately 800 new parking spaces were added, including 300 designated for park-and-ride. Turn lane improvements, new entrance and exit connections, and enhanced incidental roadways were added throughout the site.
To support multi-modal transportation, the project included three bus bays, transit shelters, benches, and bike lockers. The venue is accessible, efficient, and built for game-day success.
