A famous construction social media influencer and content creator visited with Branch employee-owners in Yancey County, North Carolina, as they rebuild in the wake of Hurricane Helene.

Aaron and his team wanted to see our employee-owners in action as they rebuild five miles of road of Highway 19W along the Cane River.
Showing the magnitude of the destruction
During the state of emergency in Yancey County, North Carolina, Branch worked with the North Carolina Department of Transportation and local authorities to create the recovery plan for Highway 19W.
Large portions of the road — including asphalt, guard rails, and roadbed — washed into the Cane River. The recovery plan required that our heavy equipment operators enter the river, pull the debris up, and haul it away.
In just two months, our crews have removed over 500,000 tons of debris from the river and rebuilt nearly two miles of the road.
Aaron and his team interviewed Branch employee-owners and got close-up shots of our heavy equipment operators working efficiently, safely, and proudly as they help Western North Carolina recover from the devastating storm.
