Safety

OUR PROGRAM

Branch has a comprehensive safety program that is managed internally is by our highly trained field Superintendents and Safety Supervisors. There is nothing more important when analyzing a project than to be aware of the potential for safety concerns. The plan is refined throughout the preconstruction phase and is clearly conveyed to all as the project is released for trade partner bidding.

We require year-round OSHA 10, OSHA 30, and first-aid training for all field and supervisory employee-owners and our Safety Supervisors regularly earn extra certifications and trainings.

Branch goes the extra step and requires extra precautions that are not mandated by certain states or contractors. Each of our 1,200 employee-owners wear helmets instead of hard hats which better protect workers from traumatic brain injury. While three times the cost of traditional hard hats, we believe in investing in the health and safety of each of our employee owners.

COMMITTED TO

SAFETY

FOR ALL

We are firmly committed to operating all projects in a safe, efficient manner that complies with or goes above all applicable safety, health, and environmental regulations. Our goal is to provide an injury-free workplace where projects are free of recognized hazards. We do not place people, equipment, or the environment at an unreasonable risk of injury or damage.

In short, we take great pride in providing a safe work environment for our employee-owners and trade partners.

Safety Rewarded

Branch educates and encourages our employee-owners to develop vigilant work ethics that protect them from the hazards inherent to the job. An electronic inspection and scoring system rewards employees for choosing safe behaviors with incentives based on project inspection scores, not injury results. These measures produce a safety culture oriented around injury prevention rather than injury reaction, enabling us to anticipate dangers before they do damage.

Celebrating Years of

Exceptional Service

As an industry leader, we are recognized for our quality, honesty, and work ethic. Not only have we received merit for outstanding construction projects, but we have also been honored as an organization whose professionalism has enhanced the construction industry and contributed to our communities.

In addition to receiving the National Safety Council’s Perfect Record Award, we are an 11-time recipient of the Occupational Excellence Achievement Award.

These accomplishments demonstrate our commitment to safety culture and creating an incident and injury-free work environment.

Within the last five years, our companies have received over forty safety awards from multiple organizations.
