Branch received a Special Recognition Award in the Greater Than 750,000 Manhours category as part of the Virginia Transportation Construction Alliance (VTCA) 2025 Contractor Safety Awards Program.
The annual VTCA Contractor Safety Awards recognize transportation construction companies across Virginia that demonstrate an outstanding commitment to workplace safety, employee well-being, and safe jobsite practices. The award reflects Branch's ongoing dedication to maintaining one of the strongest safety cultures in the heavy civil construction industry.
Safety: More than a requirement
At Branch, safety is more than a requirement. It drives every project we build and every decision we make. From highway construction and bridge projects to site development and infrastructure improvements, our teams are committed to identifying hazards, preventing incidents, and ensuring every employee-owner returns home safely each day.
"This recognition is a testament to the commitment our employee-owners bring to every jobsite," said Danny Minnix, Branch Safety senior vice president. "Safety is built into everything we do, and this award reflects the culture our teams create through preparation, accountability, and looking out for one another."
The VTCA Contractor Safety Awards honor member companies that consistently demonstrate excellence in construction safety performance and promote best practices throughout Virginia's transportation construction industry.
Branch continuously improves its safety programs
Branch is honored to receive this recognition and remains committed to continuously improving our safety programs, investing in employee training, and delivering infrastructure projects with the highest standards of quality and safety.
We thank every Branch employee-owner whose dedication to safe work practices made this achievement possible.
