Branch was recognized by the National Safety Council for achieving major workplace safety milestones. This recognition reinforces Branch’s long-standing commitment to safety, accountability, and operational excellence across the construction industry.
The recognition honors significant work hour achievements completed without incidents involving days away from work:
Our civil division: 2 million work hours from October 12, 2024, to October 21, 2025.
Our building division: 1 million work hours from April 28, 2021, to December 31, 2025.
Hopkins Lacy, our mechanical, electrical, and plumbing division: 1 million work hours from February 16, 2023, to December 31, 2025.
Safety: thousands of daily decisions across the company
The National Safety Council safety awards recognize organizations that demonstrate strong safety performance through proactive safety practices, disciplined execution, employee engagement, and continuous improvement in workplace safety programs.
For Branch, these milestones reflect thousands of daily decisions made by employee-owners across jobsites, offices, fabrication facilities, and operations throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast.
From pre-construction planning and job hazard analysis to field communication, training, and leadership accountability, Branch invests in advanced safety systems. These best-in-class programs go beyond compliance and are designed to strengthen protection for every employee-owner.
Prevention, preparation and shared responsibility
Branch’s approach to safety is built around prevention, preparation, and shared responsibility. Teams across the enterprise identify risks early, maintain disciplined operational standards, and reinforce a culture where safety is embedded into every phase of work.
“These milestones reflect the commitment our employee-owners bring to every project and every task,” said Danny Minnix, Branch senior vice president of safety. “Safety is not separate from the work. It is the work.”
