The Branch Group, Inc. ranked among top regional and national construction companies

The Branch Group, Inc. has been recognized as a top contractor by Engineering News-Record (ENR) and Virginia Business magazine. With $391 million in revenue in 2018, Branch is ranked No. 249 on the 2019 ENR Top 400 Contractors list and No. 24 on ENR’s list of Top Contractors in Transportation: Highways. The rankings are based on 2018 construction revenues. Branch was also named the 5th largest general contractor and 24th largest private company in Virginia Business magazine’s 2019 edition of The Big Book, which ranks the state’s largest companies by industry sector. Branch was the only company in Southwest Virginia to make the largest private companies list. The rankings are based on billings from 2018. Established in 1963, The Branch Group touches on all aspects of the built environment through its four subsidiaries: Branch Civil, Inc., Branch Builds, Inc., G.J. Hopkins, Inc., and L.A. Lacy, Inc.
