Working at Branch Group

Purpose and Values

At the Branch Group, our purpose and values drive the work we do. Our commitment to exceptional performance, excellent business relationships, and employee ownership lays the foundation of Building Legacies for a Thriving Future.

Employee Benefits

One of our goals is to ensure we provide employee owners with exceptional benefits that enhance their lives. We strive to offer you choice, personalization, and flexibility to meet whatever your needs are for your current stage in life. Our benefits package includes:

Our Employee Stock Ownership Plan has been around since 1982, and you become a participant on your first day with us if you are at least 18 years old.

What does this mean to you? As a Branch Group employee, you have ownership in company stock, meaning you have a meaningful stake in the company. This could provide significant financial benefits when you reach retirement age. When the company succeeds, you benefit.

To encourage our employee owners to save for their retirement on a tax-favored basis, we adopted a Section 401(k) Profit Sharing Plan in 1993.

You are eligible to participate in the plan when your employment with us begins. We match a portion of your contributions, which you can stop or change at any time. Our match amount is determined by our Board of Directors annually.

Health Coverage

We offer our employee owners the choice of multiple coverage levels for medical and dental plans, as well as life insurance and disability coverage.

In addition, we partner with Carilion Health Services to offer an Employee Assistance Program. We understand you may face challenging circumstances that can affect job performance and personal wellness. This benefit provides confidential professional assistance to you and your immediate family members.

We encourage employee owners to take time away from work for personal wellbeing, to recharge, and to create a work-life balance. Both office and field employee owners are eligible for paid vacation days.

We also observe seven paid holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day After Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
