EXPECTED GRADUATION

2021.

HOBBIES

Outside of school I enjoy hiking, running, and yoga. I love traveling and trying new things. I also love the Harry Potter books and Doctor Who. I love cats (my friends think I may become a crazy cat lady).

WHY CONSTRUCTION?

I am interested in construction because I love seeing my ideas come to life. Ever since I was young, I have been particularly fascinated with creating buildings in particular. My favorite thing was to build doll houses and castles all out of cardboard and hot glue.

CAREER GOAL

My long term career goal is still a little bit vague. Right now I think I want to work as a project manager somewhere. I would like to someday run my own engineering firm. I hope this internship will help me solidify my desired career path.

HOBBIES

I enjoy all sports. I played lacrosse in high school.  My favorite team is LA Rams! Fun fact is I’m a big drift car fan.

WHY CONSTRUCTION?

You can say construction is in my blood and I would love to follow in my father’s footsteps. I learned so much from him and I can’t wait to get started!

Home Safe Spotlight: Hand Safety

Did you know that your hands and fingers are the body parts most frequently injured at work? According to the National Electronic Injury Surveillance System, nearly 2/3 of those injuries were lacerations that could have been prevented by using the correct gloves. To make it Home Safe today, make sure you are wearing the correct gloves for the job at all times.

EXPECTED GRADUATION

May of 2020

HOBBIES

I am a really big Star Wars nerd and somewhat of a music junkie (my favorite band would be Switchfoot). One thing I love to do in my spare time is to modify Nerf blasters! I love making them shoot harder, faster, and stronger through changing the stuff inside.

WHY CONSTRUCTION?

My interest in construction dates back to when I was about six. I always loved driving down the road and seeing the big yellow construction vehicles! I used to be able to name every one! Apart from the big rigs, I enjoy building things and seeing ideas come to fruition (I grew up building LEGOs).

As far as a long-term career goal goes, I just want to glorify God by providing for and leading a family as well as working a job I enjoy!
