Ashleigh Turner joins The Branch Group as our new Recruiter. Ashleigh, a native to the Roanoke Valley, has spent the last 10 years as a Recruiter and HR Manager. She has years of experience helping the companies she served to fill vacancies and manage their hiring processes.
Ashleigh will focus on assisting our Operating Companies with workforce planning and hiring skilled trade and field employees.

We are pleased to welcome Marcel Cruz to The Branch Group family.
Marcel is joining the team as a dedicated Safety Representative for the I-95 Fred Ex project where he will work with Branch Civil to ensure that the BranchSAFE principles of Leadership, Accountability, Education and Prevention are a primary focus.
Marcel is joining us after nearly 5 years of dedicated service to the Marines in the Military Police. One of Marcel’s most interesting achievements was to serve with the Ceremonial Guard for the President and Vice President of the United States.

Join us in welcoming Kim Sargent to the Marketing Team. Kim will act as our Brand Ambassador and primary contact for internal customers. She will perform daily tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of marketing’s activities, like; managing our Wrike job request system and establishing relationships with key internal stakeholders and outside vendors.
Kim grew up in Woodbridge, Virginia and relocated to Roanoke after graduating from Radford University, where she majored in Media and Advertising. She has spent the last 12 years at The Roanoke Times , wearing many different hats in the Advertising Department; the most recent being Creative Services and Marketing Manager. Kim has experience in project management, print and digital advertising, marketing, and print production.
Kim and her husband Jeremy have two beautiful (and spunky) daughters. She is especially excited to be joining Branch as a daughter, niece, and wife of tradesmen.
Our all employee Branch Group meeting was held at The Maridor in Roanoke and facilitated by Jeff Smith, CEO, Voltage Leadership Consulting.
The foundation of our meeting was based on the theories from the book, The Outward Mindset: Seeing Beyond Ourselves by The Arbinger Institute It was a great day of learning and camaraderie with co-workers from across Virginia and North Carolina.

The Branch Group would like to welcome Chelsea Richards into the Branch Family. Chelsea has joined the HR Department as a Human Resources Administrative Assistant. Chelsea’s primary responsibilities will include day-to-day administrative support such as onboarding employees, corresponding with state unemployment offices and employment verifications. Chelsea has worked in Human Resources over the past 7 years, most recently at Coca Cola Bottling as an Office Coordinator.
Chelsea was born and raised in Franklin County, VA. She is married and the proud mother of two.
