The Branch Group, Inc. Information Technology Department will be working the weekend of December 18th to 20th starting on Friday the 18th at 9PM and running until 9PM on Sunday the 20th to do maintenance on the databases that house our corporate emails.

The email server work will be a rolling maintenance window while we run defragmentation routines and compact the email databases.  We currently have the companies split into a few databases so this will help minimize downtime for the overall enterprise.  However during this time access to email will not be possible through Outlook, mail.branchgroup.com, or Blackberries for the companies that are having their database actively worked on.  Incoming email from the rest of the world will be queued and once the maintenance on the respective databases is complete the messages will be delivered.

The plan will be to start with the B&A database first and when it is done to move to the database that houses email for EVW & RED.  Once EVW/RED is done then the work will move to the database that houses mail for TBG, BHI, BHS, & GJH.
